Cam Derr, Sports Contributor Emory & Henry College has added Track and Field to their long list of varsity Athletics offered at the school. The Track and Field team traveled to East Tennessee State University to compete in their last meet of the regular season. Sophomore Reece Watson out of Roanoke VA, set a school record for the 60 meter by a time of 7.6 seconds. Watson was one of 5 records set by the Wasps this weekend.

Connor White, Sports Contributor Emory VA- Jackson Kaze is in the process of developing from a soccer player to a track runner. The now dual-sport athlete, Kaze is running track at the collegiate level. He uses work ethic and his mentality to catch up to athletes that have been running multiple years more than him. Kaze has now completed in three track meets, improving his time by a substantial amount. His first 800-meter race was at Roanoke where Kaze posted a time of two minutes and 13 seconds. In his next race at ETSU, he ran for two minutes and eight seconds. Kaze’s personal record was improved by more than five seconds within one week.
